A Michigan man sustained a life-threatening injury Tuesday afternoon as the result of a motorcycle crash on Interstate 90.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2019 Harley Davidson FLHX operated by Samuel John Babb, 57, of Quinnesec, Michigan was westbound on I-90 near milepost 6 in Beaver Creek Township when it entered the median and rolled. The crash took place at 3:33 p.m. Tuesday; Babb was wearing a helmet and alcohol was not involved.
Babb was transported to Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls with life-threatening injuries. Assisting at the scene were the Rock County Sheriff's Office, Sanford Luverne Ambulance, Beaver Creek Fire and Rescue and the Sanford Sioux Falls Medivac.
