Nobles County Commissioner Gene Metz will be attending the Counties Providing Technology (CPT) Meeting at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 24 from the Nobles County board room.
Counties Providing Technology is a county-owned business that offers technology applications to member counties. According to Nobles County Administrator Bruce Heitkamp, the CPT endeavor arose when a private business was for sale and a Joint Powers Organization (CPT) was formed so member counties could retain the service through ownership. A Nobles County Commissioner sits on their board.
The meetings have been attended in Morris. Member-county representatives are given the option of attending remotely, and Metz is exercising this option.
