Luverne will have its 'Heroes Behind the Badges' blood drive on Jan. 19

The annual Luverne Heroes Behind the Badges blood drive is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 19 at Sanford Luverne Medical Center, located at 1600 N. Kniss Ave.

This friendly competition between Luverne EMS, Fire Department and law enforcement will impact the community’s blood supply throughout January. All those donating blood will receive a $20 Kwik Trip gift card as a thank you gift. 

To schedule a donation, donor may log onto www.cbblifeblood.org, select “donate now,” “blood drive calendar,” and Jan. 19 or call (605) 331-3222. 

Donors must be at least 17 years old (or 16 years old with parental consent found at www.cbblifeblood.org), weigh at least 110 pounds and be in general good health. Donors exhibiting cold or flu symptoms are unable to donate.
