The city of Jackson is once again looking for a new city administrator.
Jim Langborg abruptly resigned from the position last week. Langborg, whose resignation was effective immediately, was hired to the position seven months ago.
Mayor Marcus Polz released a statement Friday thanking Langborg for his service and dedication to the community and wished him the best with his future endeavors.
City department heads will work directly through him to ensure city operations continue smoothly and ongoing projects remain on track, Polz added. “Our focus remains on stability teamwork and transparency as we serve the people of Jackson with professionalism and respect,” he wrote.
