Good Friday program coming from RISE Ministries

RISE Ministries has announced its Good Friday Program will premiere on March 29.

For the fourth year in a row, RISE Ministries will host its Good Friday program on local TV stations and online. Filmed in Orange City, Iowa, it features Christian music artist Cade Thompson and speaker Rob Roozeboom. This half-hour program will have original songs by Cade Thompson, real-life stories, and a message of hope from Roozeboom.

Said Roozeboom in a press release: “When the RISE team asked me, ‘What’s the focus of this year’s Good Friday program?’ All I could think about was Good Friday & Grief. I wanted to focus on the grief that took place on Good Friday, because I believe that what Jesus did on the cross, the grief that he endured, is the reason we can have hope in moments of grief. So, our good friend Cade Thompson and I went to a hospital and filmed the Good Friday program talking about grief and hope. Cade also shared some songs with us and one of those songs is ‘I’ll See You Soon.’”

“Good Friday & Grief” will go live on Facebook and YouTube at 6:30 p.m. Friday, March 29. It will also broadcast on local TV stations in Sioux Falls, Des Moines, and Sioux City. Visit riseministries.com/goodfriday for more information.
