A Fulda man was transported to Sanford Sioux Falls Hospital as the result of a Friday afternoon crash in Nobles County.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2018 Chevrolet Equinox operated by Hnin Hnin Wai, 52, of Fulda was southbound on U.S. 59 and a 2016 Peterbilt tractor operated by Christopher Michael Carrington, 51, of Granite Falls was heading on to Nobles County 14 from U.S. 59 when the vehicles collided. The crash occurred at 12:40 p.m. Friday.
Wai was taken to Sanford Sioux Falls Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Carrington was unhurt. The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office, Worthington Fire Department and Worthington Ambulance assisted at the scene.
