Friday motorcycle crash in Jackson County injures one

A New York state resident was injured Friday afternoon in a motorcycle crash along Interstate 90.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2015 Indian Motorcycle operated by Matthew James Howe, 32, of Geneva, N.Y. was eastbound on I-90 when it lost control in wet conditions and crashed. The crash was reported at 3:49 p.m. Friday near milepost 77 in Jackson County's Wisconsin Township.
Howe, who was not wearing a helmet, was transported to Sanford Jackson Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The Jackson County Sheriff's Office, along with the Jackson Ambulance and Fire Department, assisted at the scene.
