Free workshop on Minnesota Paid Leave to take place next Monday

A free Minnesota Paid Leave for Small Business Owners workshop will take place from 4 to 5 p.m. on Monday, April 27 at FORWARD Worthington, 700 Second Ave., Worthington.

The workshop will cover the basics, including what types of leave qualify and key compliance guidelines; a step-by-step checklist to help you prepare; financial support for eligible small employers; and self-employed coverage. There will also be a question-and-answer component with consultants from the Southwest Minnesota Small Business Development Center.
