Des Moines Valley Health and Human Services-Public Health is hosting a free car seat checkup clinic June 24 from 5 to7 p.m., at the Jackson Fire Department.
The event is being held in conjunction with the Jackson Nationals.
Anyone who transports a child is encouraged to register for an appointment.
Three out of four car seats are incorrectly installed. Through this clinic, Public Health wants to help parents and guardians keep their most precious cargo safe.
