MARSHALL — It’s stood vacant for the past couple of years, but the former Shopko building in Marshall will have a new owner, said Marshall EDA Director Lauren Deutz.
Information on who brought the property isn’t available yet, she said. Once the property is out of escrow, more information will be available.
The Marshall Shopko location was one of 120 stores that closed down in 2019, after the company went into liquidation. The Marshall Shopko pharmacy had closed a few months earlier at the end of 2018. Before it closed, the store employed about 55 people.
