A fatal accident took place late Sunday evening in Lac Qui Parle County.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2000 Peterbilt Semi driven by a 48-year-old man from Lake Benton was entering U.S. 75 from 180th Street while a 2000 International Semi driven by a 68-year-old man from Gary, S.D. was southbound on U.S. 75 when they collided. The crash was reported at 10:34 p.m. Sunday.
Identities of the drivers and their condition had yet to be released Monday. Assistance was provided by the Lac Qui Parle County Sheriff’s Office, Yellow Medicine County Sheriff’s Office, and Dawson Fire and Ambulance.
