District 518's Morphew honors for lifetime contributions

Patrick Morphew, Worthington District 518 Accountant for 29 years, was recently presented the 2022 Outstanding Lifetime Contribution Award by the Minnesota Association of School Business Officials (MASBO).

The Outstanding Lifetime Contribution Award recognizes and celebrates the overall contributions of Minnesota school business officials to their districts or organizations, their communities and the profession. The award is intended to honor the cumulative accomplishments in their career in school business roles. One Outstanding Lifetime Contribution Award is given each year to a worthy recipient at the MASBO conference. Morphew is the seventh person to be honored with this award.

As the recipient of the Outstanding Lifetime Contribution Award, Morphew – who has worked as the Worthington Independent School District 518 accountant since 1993 -- will also receive a $2,000 scholarship to be awarded to students in his home school district.
