The levy includes a general purpose tax levy of $6,854,092 and special tax levies of $1,092,289.

Public comment will be taken regarding the proposed 2025 tax levies.

In another item on Monday's agenda, the council will consider approval of a conditional use permit to for Duininck Inc.

Duininck Inc. has submitted an application for a CUP to allow for the development and operation of an asphalt plant along with asphalt and concrete recycling, a portable crushing plant, and all related stockpiling, office, shop, and outdoor equipment storage. If approved, the asphalt plant will be located on the south side of 27th Street within the Worthington Bio Science Industrial Park Fourth Addition.

During a meeting last Tuesday, the Worthington Planning Commission voted 5-0 to recommend approval of the requested conditional use permit subject to conditions that include required vegetative screening along the north side of the site and the northwest corner, as well as a minimum setback of 20 feet from the lot line on the north side.
