Community Foundation of Osceola County accepting grant applications

Grant applications for the 2021--2022 Community Foundation of Osceola County grant cycle will be accepted starting on Oct. 1. The foundation recently received a notice that $101,446.60 will be available to distribute for the new grant cycle.

Grants may be awarded in the following areas: arts and culture, community affairs and development, education, environmental education and protection, health, historical preservation, human services and youth programs. Completed applications must be received by 4 p.m. on Nov. 5 to be considered for funding. The application materials are online at https://osceolacountyia.gov/living-here/community-foundation-of-osceola-county. Grants will be awarded in late January 2022. Application limits are set at $5,000 per application per applicant. Applicants are reminded that seven copies of their grant application must be received by the Community Foundation of Osceola County, 300 Seventh St., Sibley, Iowa 51249 by 4 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 5.
