Coats for Kids being coordinated in Sheldon

The Sheldon Ministerial Association is again organizing Coats For Kids, which will start a few weeks from now. Campus Cleaners is also cleaning the used coats at no charge. The Sheldon Community Building is on Ninth Street in downtown Sheldon. Coats for kids and teen will be accepted; the ministerial association is not looking for caps or mittens this year. It also isn’t looking for lightweight coats like spring or fall outerwear — just winter coats. The drop-off dates are from Oct. 17 to Nov. 14. Coats may be dropped off at Top Notch Stitching in Sheldon. People with kids or teens in need of a coat may pick one out from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Nov. 19 in the lower level of the Sheldon Community Services Center.
