The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has notified the City of Adrian that it is in a drought warning response phase and is required to implement water conservation measures.
City code restricts all outdoor watering from the city water system between the hours of noon and 6 p.m. Also, odd-numbered addresses may water on odd-numbered days and even-numbered addresses may water on even-numbered days.
If the drought continues, prohibition of all outdoor watering may become necessary.
