Blue Earth man hurt in Jackson County rollover crash

One man was injured Monday morning when a semi was involved in a rollover crash on U.S. 71.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2003 Freightliner semi operated by Donald J. Asmus, 63, of Blue Earth was southbound on U.S. 71 at milepost 11 in Jackson when it left the road, entered the northbound ditch and rolled. The crash was reported at 8:47 a.m. Monday.
Asmus was transported to Sanford Jackson Medical Center with a non-life-threatening injury. The Jackson County Sheriff's Office along with the Jackson Fire Department and Ambulance assisted at the scene.
