The American Red Cross continues to experience an emergency blood shortage that has caused the blood supply to drop to the lowest post-summer level in at least six years. In addition, blood donor turnout decreased by about 10% as summer came to an end.

Luverne: Noon to 6 p.m. Oct. 27, Grand Prairie Events, 105 S. Estey St.
Marshall: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 27, St. Stephen Lutheran, 1301 S. Fourth St.; 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Oct. 29, Western Mental Health Center, 1212 E. College St.
Westbrook: 1 to 6 p.m. Oct. 18, Community Center, 849 5th St.
