Minnesota Seeds of Justice has been awarded a $50,000 grant by The Blandin Foundation through its Small Community and Rural Placemaking (SC/RPM) grant program.
Minnesota Seeds of Justice is one of 72 recipients of a combined $4 million in grants awarded. The program aims to empower Minnesota’s smallest communities. The grants are designed to support community-driven solutions and foster resilience in communities where resources are often limited.
The grant to Minnesota Seeds of Justice is for a Youth Participatory Action Research (YPAR) approach to engage local youths in shaping the design and functions of a cultural community resource center for Worthington’s diverse population. Arts and culture will be integrated into the process, with creative collaborations to share findings and celebrate the comprehensive plan with the community and stakeholders.
