Baustian would resign as Luverne's mayor if elected

Luverne Mayor Pat Baustian would resign as Luverne mayor in the event he’s elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives.

Upon further inquiry with the Secretary of State, Baustian confirmed that he'd be required to give up his elected position in Luverne. The DFL candidate is hoping to defeat incumbent Joe Schomacker for the District 21A seat in November.
