Basin and L&O scholarships to be offered again by Federated

This is the 19th year that Federated Rural Electric, Jackson, will award a Basin and L&O scholarship to two local Federated electric members’ sons or daughters. The dollar amounts have also increased this year, with one at $2,500 and the other at $1,500.

The scholarships are available to high school seniors and college students who will be enrolled fulltime in an accredited two-year or four-year college, university or vocational/technical school, working on an undergraduate degree. Previous Federated-Basin scholarship winners are not eligible to apply again. Applicants must be 25 and under and a U.S. citizen. The parents/legal guardians must receive their electric bill from Federated.
