All Nobles County lakes under no-wake advisory

Writer's picture: Radio WorksRadio Works

Due to the recent and anticipated rainfall, a no-wake advisory is issued for all lakes in Nobles County as water levels are still very high.

The no-wake advisory means that no watercraft should exceed a speedy whereby a wake or wave is produced behind the watercraft.

All watercraft operators and boaters are encouraged to use caution and slower speeds when operating near the shoreline while the water remains high. The no-wake zone restriction is an effort to protect the shorelines, reduce property erosion, minimize environmental damage, and protect persons and property from floating debris.

The no-wake advisory will be in effect until water levels drop.
