Wrestler Sam Rock is this week's Athlete of the Week

Sam Rock, a Minnesota West Community & Technical College freshman and a member of the Bluejays' wrestling team, is this week's Radio Works Athlete of the Week. Rock will compete at the NJCAA National Tournament Friday and Saturday in Council Bluffs, Iowa, after finishing as the runner-up at 174 pounds during the NJCAA Region XIII National Qualifier on Sunday, Feb. 23.

The Radio Works Athlete of the Week is being brought to you by JBS Foods in Worthington. At the heart of every culture around the world is delicious food that brings us together. Each recipient will be recognized with a Radio Works Athlete of the Week T-shirt as well as recognition on our social media pages. Athletes will be recognized from schools that include Worthington, Jackson County Central, Heron Lake-Okabena, Fulda, Sibley-Ocheyedan, Adrian-Ellsworth and Minnesota West.
