Worthington's warm weather pattern continued through November

Worthington's November weather once again featured high and low temperatures that were much warmer than average and precipitation that was slightly less than average, according to data compiled at Worthington's Wastewater Treatment Plant.


The average high this past month was 45.7 degrees, which is 3.9 degrees above the November normal of 41.8. The average low was 28.4 degrees, which is 5.2 degrees above average.


The warmest temperature of the month was recorded at 72 degrees, which came on Nov. 15. The next warmest high was 60 degrees on the previous day. The coldest thermometer reading of the month was 11 degrees, which came on three different days -- Nov. 11, 28 and 30.


Worthington picked up 1.13 inches of precipitation during the past month, which amounts to .14 inches less than the 1.27 inches that's typical here for November. Sixty hundredths of an inch of the month's precip was measured on Nov. 18. Meanwhile, a total of six inches of snow was measured during this past weekend's snowstorm.


So far in 2025, Worthington has received exactly 27 inches of rainfall. The average here for the first 11 months of a year is 29.64 inches.


The average high for the first 11 months of 2025 is 60.0 degrees, compared to the average of 56.9. The average low for this year thus far is 37.9 degrees, compared to 36.2.
