Worthington PD will have training exercises on Thursday

The Worthington Police Department will be conducting a large training exercise today in the wooded/swamp area between Puppy Park and Olson Park.

The bike path between Puppy Park and Olson Park, as well as the dog park entrance and the disc golf course, are all temporarily closed. Barricades will be in place at both ends of the bike path and near all closed areas. These areas will reopen at normal hours Friday. This operation will not affect campers at Olson Park.

Additionally, the Worthington Police Department will also be conducting a second training operation in the wooded area west of the Middle School near the baseball fields.
