The snow that fell throughout most of Friday left varying amounts of accumulation around the region.
National Weather Service statistics indicate that Worthington received 7 ½ inches of snow. Heron Lake and Jackson both had 8 inches, while Marshall and Tracy each had reports of 10 inches. Slayton reported 6.3 inches of snow, while northwest Iowa accumulations ranged from 10.5 inches in Spirit Lake to 7 inches in Lake Park.
