Worthington, Currie individuals hurt in separate crashes

A Worthington man was injured in an early Tuesday rollover crash in Watonwan County.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2017 Peterbilt Semi Truck operated by Mario Enrique Sorto Arce, 38, of Worthington was on an eastbound on-ramp to Minnesota 60 when it rolled. The crash took place at 8:18 a.m. Tuesday at milepost 84 in Madelia Township.
Arce was transported to Madelia Health with a non-life-threatening injury. The Madelia Fire Department and Ambulance and the Watonwan County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene.

An individual from Currie was injured in another crash that also took place early Tuesday morning.
The State Patrol reported that a 2020 GMC Sierra operated by Dale Allen Robinson, 65, of Currie was nortbound on Minnesota 23 in wet road conditions while a 2015 Peterbilt Semi Truck operated by Benjamin Anthony Ruther, 34, of Winsted was westbound on Minnesota 7 when they collided. The crash took place at 5:36 a.m. Tuesday in Clara City.
Robinson was taken to Rice Hospital with a non-life-threatening injury. Ruther was not injured in the collision. The Clara City EMS and Fire Department and the Chippewa County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene.
