Work on Adrian's transformer is scheduled for next week

Planned maintenance to the City of Adrian main transformer will begin Tuesday, Aug. 12 until Thursday, Aug. 14, according to the city.

During this time, maintenance to the main transformer will be conducted to further enhance the stability of the electric grid. The City of Adrian will be run on generated power throughout the process.

Residents are asked to conserve power during this time to ensure the generator can supply electricity to the entire town.
