A new event, the United Way of Nobles County 3K, will take place this Sunday at Centennial Park in Worthington.
Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. at Centennial Park, with the race starting at 1 p.m. Cost is $10 for individuals and $25 for a family of four. Pulled pork sandwiches, chips, watermelon and water will be provided to all participants.
The race is a fundraising effort for the United Way of Nobles County for its donations for area groups, non-profits and agencies. All money raised stays local.
