Two vehicles collide Monday afternoon on Minnesota 60

One person was injured Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash on Minnesota 60.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser operated by Melissa Darlene Ann Sadler, 32, of Good Thunder was traveling westbound on Minnesota 60 and a 2014 Freightliner semi operated by Abdi Ali Sadik, 37, of Willmar was also westbound in snowy/icy conditions 0when they collided at the intersection of Minnesota 60 and Minnesota 86. The crash was reported at 1:30 p.m. Monday.

Sadler was taken to Windom Area Health with non-life-threatening injuries; Sadik was unhurt. Assisting at the scene were the Windom Fire Department, Windom Ambulance, and the Cottonwood and Jackson county sheriff’s offices.
