A Jackson male was transported to an area hospital following a Saturday afternoon crash on Interstate 90 near mile marker 24 in Nobles County.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2012 Chevy Malibu operated by Elijah Keith Meium-Bratrud, 19, of Jackson was eastbound on I-90 in snowy and icy conditions when it left the roadway and struck a light pole. Meium-Bratrud was transported to Adrian’s hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.
The Adrian Fire Department and Ambulance assisted at the scene. The crash was reported at 2:29 p.m. Saturday.
Another one-vehicle crash took place on I-90 Friday night in Rock County, resulting in the transporting of a 16-year-old male to a hospital.
According to the State Patrol, a 2008 Pontiac Torrent operated by the 16-year-old Magnolia male was eastbound near the exit to Luverne and U.S. 75 when it left the roadway and struck a median guard rail. The crash was reported at 11:11 p.m. Friday. The teen was taken by ambulance to Sanford Luverne Medical Center with a non-life-threatening injury.
The Rock County Sheriff’s Office, Luverne Fire & Rescue, and the Luverne Ambulance assisted at the scene.
