Two are injured in separate Saturday crashes on Interstate 90

A Worthington man was injured Saturday in a crash on Interstate 90 in Faribault County.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2012 Hyundai Sonata operated by Donaldo Soto Velasquez, 19, was eastbound in wet road conditions when the vehicle hydroplaned into the median, struck a crossover and landed in the center median. The crash took place at 8:01 a.m. Saturday just east of the Wells exit in Foster Township.
Velasquez was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System-Albert Lea with non-life-threatening injuries. The Albert Lea Ambulance, Wells Police and Fire Departments and the Faribault County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene.

A Memphis, Tenn. man was injured Saturday as a result of a semi rollover crash on Interstate 90.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2018 Wabash operated by Christopher Luther Neal, 45, was eastbound on I-90 about two and a half miles east of Luverne in dry road conditions when it rolled into the median and came to rest on the driver's side. The crash took place at 7:10 a.m. Saturday.
Neal was taken to Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls with a non-life-threatening injury. The Rock County Sheriff's Office, Luverne Fire Department and EMS, Sanford EMS and the Minnesota Department of Transportation assisted at the scene.
