Truckers from across northwest Iowa and southwest Minnesota will gather in Sibley on Sunday night for a Truck Tribute to Ryan Palmer, who was killed Monday morning when his truck veered off a Sioux City street and entered a group of trees. Organizers of the Ryan Palmer Truck Tribute say all commercial truckers are invited to bring their trucks and help pay tribute to Palmer. Trucks are asked to line up at 5:30 Sunday afternoon, east of Fifth Avenue on 10th Street in Sibley, with trucks facing west. The tribute will roll out at 6 p.m. and will go north on Fifth Avenue to Ninth Street, then turn right and head east down Ninth Street. All truckers are invited to bring their trucks and take part.
