Trojan Pavelko is named an all-conference honorable mention

Worthington High School Junior Dominic Pavelko has been selected as an honorable mention member of the Big South Conference Boys Hockey All-Conference Team.
Playing in 26 games this season for the Trojans, Pavelko accumulated a total of 34 points, which led the team. Pavelko topped all WHS players in scoring with 21 goals and passed for 13 assists, second on the squad behind Hunter Heitkamp. Worthington wound up finishing with a 2-24 record on the winter.
Luverne, which topped the Big South's Gold Division standings, had four players recognized as all-conference an additional two as honorable mention. Earning all-conference honors were junior Ben Hartquist and seniors Jaxon Lais, Landyn Lais and Maddux Domagala. Picking up honorable mention nods were junior Will Bergman and senior Gavin Hoven.
Waseca, which finished atop the Big South's Black Division standings, had five players named all-conference and one as honorable mention. New Ulm and Minnesota River each had two players recognized as all-conference.
Among others receiving honorable mention recognition were senior Klay Beemer of Fairmont and junior Jacob Allen of Marshall. Redwood Valley and Windom did not have any representatives.
