Trojan marching band earns pair of honors at Luverne event

The Spirit of Worthington Trojan Marching Band earned first-place honors for Class AAAA during Saturday's Tri-State Band Festival in Luverne. The Trojans also earned recognition for best overall color guard.

Among other area bands, Marshall High School took first place in Class AAA in the field portion of the event and was recognized with Outstanding Wind and Outstanding Percussion honors. Pipestone Area High School received Outstanding Drum Major recognition in Class AA.
