Trojan gymnasts win again as they defeat Jackson County Central

The Worthington Trojans retained their perfect record in gymnastics meets this season by defeating Jackson County Central on the road Tuesday night, 141.4275 to 133.225.
Isabella Lazzu was the all-around champion for the Trojans with a total score of 35.7775. Right behind in second was teammate Jada Milbrath, who finished at 35.05. Braelyn Boogers of JCC was third at 34.375.
In the vault competition, Worthington gymnasts held down the top three places. Marley Phomsatry and Olivia Bullerman both earned scores of 9.1, while Lazzu was third at 9.0275. Boogerd was fourth and Milbrath fifth.
On the bars, the top five finishers were all Trojans. Milbrath was first at 8.975, Lucy Thier second at 8.675 and Lazzu third at 8.6. Claire Meyer was fourth and Bullerman fifth.
Lazzu was the victor on the beam for Worthignton with a score of 8.925. JCC's Lily Brinkman was second at 8.825 and the Huskies' Boogerd third at 8.45. Meyer was fourth and JCC's Clara Brinks was fifth.
Thier's score of 9.45 topped all competitors on the floor. Teammate Brooklyn Dykstra was second with 9.35 and Lazzu third at 9.225. Phomsatry placed fourth and Boogerd fifth.
