Thursday afternoon crash in Windom sends woman to local hospital

A Windom woman was injured in a one-vehicle crash Thursday on Minnesota 60.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2013 Chrysler Town & Country operated by Ruth Lynnea Hocke, 76, of Windom was eastbound on Minnesota 60 when it veered off the roadway, entered the median and struck a sign. The crash took place at 1:17 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of Minnesota 60 and John Caldwell Drive in Windom.
Hocke was transported to Windom Area Health with a non-life-threatening injury. The Cottonwood County Sheriff's Office, as well as the Windom Police Department and Ambulance, assisted at the scene.
