The Round Lake-Brewster School District reported Friday that a threat was made toward the school.
The district added that law enforcement investigated the threat carefully and found it wasn't real, and that there was no danger to students or staff. Even though police offered their assurance of safety, the decision was made to cancel school Friday in order to be extra careful. This gave more time to review everything and make sure the school stays a safe and calm place for everyone, the district stated.
Classes at the school resumed Monday.
