Minnesota's individual high school wrestling tournament continued Saturday with individual competition in all classes. As of mid-afternoon, one Worthington wrestler remained in the tournament.
Worthington 285-pounder Cole Hennings, after falling earlier in the day in a semifinal match, defeated Jaden Drill of New Ulm Area via a win by fall in 6:52. Hennings will next wrestle for third place against Gannon Rosenfeld of Mankato West.
Meanwhile, Jackson County Central's Nolan Ambrose (113), Kie Anderson (120) and Payton Handevidt (160) are all in the Class A finals.
Handevidt, headed to Augustana University, is looking to end his career with a third straight title. Ambrose is aiming for his second championship, in a row and Anderson is looking to graduate as a champion for the first time.
Logan Butzon (132), Thomas Freking (138) and Caleb Vancura (182) will wrestle for third place for the Huskies, while Isaiah Rodriguez (152) will wrestle for fifth place. Will Freking (195) had to medical forfeit out of the consolation semifinals and finishes in sixth place.
