St. Paul man dies in Jackson County rollover crash

A rollover crash last week in Jackson County resulted in the death of a St. Paul man.

According to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office, a 2026 Mitsubishi Outlander operated by William Wood, 62, of St. Paul was westbound on Sept. 30 when it entered the ditch and rolled onto its hood. The crash was reported shortly after 7 p.m. from Jackson County 34 near Jackson County 9.

Wood was pronounced dead at the scene. The Lakefield Fire Department and Ambulance and Minnesota State Patrol assisted at the scene.
