Worthington Community Football Club will host a free skills camp for boys and girls ages 5-13 on Wednesday, Aug. 3.
The camp will be hosted at Buss Field. Check-in time is from 5 to 5:30 p.m., with the camp to run from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Participants should dress to be active and may bring a ball if they have one, though it isn’t required.
The club will offer water donated by Culligan Water Conditioning of Worthington. As the weather may be hot, it’s recommended that participants bring their own water as well.
All registered campers will get a Worthington Community Football Club T-shirt. People should register by July 27 to get the T-shirt; a link can be found on the club’s Facebook page. One registration should be completed for each child that is participating. Youths may attend without advance registration; they just may not get the T-shirt.

A Worthington youth football meeting will take place on Thursday, Aug. 4 at the JBS/City of Worthington Field House.
Participants in grades 3-4 will meet at 6 p.m. sharp, while participants in grades 5-6 will meet at 6:45 p.m. sharp. The meeting will be short, and equipment will be handed out. Parents with kids in both groups will only need to attend one meeting,
