A Sibley woman was arrested Sunday following the execution of a search warrant at her residence in the 800 block of Ninth Avenue.
According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, Christine Anne Lynch, 49, was charged with second-offense possession of a controlled substance — methamphetamine, second-offense possession of a controlled substance — marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and third-degree harassment. The meth, marijuana and paraphernalia were located during the search.
The harassment charge was in connection with a Sept. 2 incident during which Lynch left a message on another Sibley woman’s phone stating “What are you getting out of this? At the end of the day you’ll pay and we’ll be laughing, not you.” The report goes on to note that it's believed that Lynch made the call on behalf of a man who has a no-contact order against him with the woman.
A no- contact order has been issued against Lynch with the woman, the sheriff's office said.
