Sex trafficking program scheduled for Jan. 15 in Worthington

A community presentation on sex trafficking will be hosted next month in Worthington.
The presentation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Jan. 15 at Memorial Auditorium Performing Arts Center. The event is being sponsored by Southwest Crisis Center and Helping Hand Pregnancy Center.
Scheduled to be co-speakers for the presentation are Mary Jackson, a survivor service and program coordinator as well as an educator and advocate, and Kylita Gomez, case manager at Marissa's House, a 12-unit apartment complex in Sioux Falls that supports the recovery of human trafficking survivors and keeps their families together.
The event is free to attend.
