The Sibley-Ocheyedan School district on Sunday afternoon released policy changes effective Monday that "have been made for the safety and well-being of our students."
A letter from Secondary Principal Casey Hertz stated that "due to recent inappropriate behavior in the boys locker room, the following changes will go into effect starting Monday 1/12/26."
These include the boys locker room being locked at all times, and no dressing out for PE this week. For morning weights and practice, athletes will be allowed in the locker room and coaches will be first in and last out. Additionally, key card access to the locker room has been shut off for all HS/MS students, though they still have access to the weight room.
