Worthington was defeated Thursday night at Russell-Tyler-Ruthton in Senior American Legion Baseball, as Post 5 got just three hits in a 5-0 setback.
Tucker Brandner had a pair of doubles and Chase Byrne added a single for the only Worthington offense. R-T-R snapped a scoreless tie by tallying four unearned runs in the bottom of the fourth inning, during which Post 5 committed three errors. The home team added on another run in the fifth.
