One injured in Wednesday crash on icy Minnesota 60

Icy roads were a likely contributor to an accident Wednesday morning on Minnesota 60 in Jackson County.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2005 Buick LaCrosse operated by Kiana Rae Erickson, 19, of Spencer was westbound on Minnesota 60 at milepost 35 when it lost control in snow/ice conditions and rolled into the ditch. The crash was reported at 7:37 a.m. Wednesday.

Erickson was transported to Windom Area Health with non-life-threatening injuries. The Windom Police Department, Fire Department and Ambulance, as well as the Cottonwood County and Jackson County Sheriff's Office, assisted at the scene.
