One injured in Monday crash in Martin County

A Fairmont man was injured in a Monday afternoon crash on Minnesota 15 in Martin County.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2018 Chevy Equinox operated by Patrick John Graif, 62, of Fairmont was eastbound on 50th Street and a 2005 GMC Yukon operated by Jacob Thomas Fontenot, 47, of Milford, Iowa was northbound on U.S. 15 when they collided in the intersection. The crash was reported at 1:48 p.m. Monday.

Graif was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System-Fairmont with a non-life-threatening injury. Fontenot was unhurt in the collision. The Martin County Sheriff's Office, Fairmont Fire Department and Mayo Ambulance assisted at the scene.
