One hurt in Wednesday rollover crash in Iowa's O'Brien County

An Ocheyedan man was injured Wednesday in a single-vehicle crash in O'Brien County.

According to the O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office, a 2005 Honda Accord operated by Rian Christopher Engelkes, 23, was eastbound on 400th Street west of 100th Avenue when the vehicle went into the north ditch for several hundred feet, exited the ditch and crossed the road; it then went into the south ditch and rolled. The crash was reported at 12:05 p.m. Wednesday.

Engelkes was taken to Spencer Hospital with non-incapacitating injuries. The vehicle was a total loss.
