One hurt in Sunday afternoon crash in Mountain Lake area

A Windom man was injured Sunday in a one-vehicle crash on Minnesota 60.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2003 Buick Lesabre operated by Richard Charles Seydel, 74, of Windom was eastbound on Minnesota 60 turning northbound into Mountain Lake, and a 2011 Freightliner semi operated by Jadon James Schroepfer, 21, of Sleepy Eye was westbound on Minnesota 60 when the vehicles collided in the intersection. The crash took place at 2:04 p.m. Sunday.

Seydel was taken to Windom Area Health with a non-life-threatening injury. The Cottonwood County Sheriff's Office and the Mountain Lake Police Department, Fire Department and Ambulance assisted at the scene.
