One hurt in motorcycle crash near I-90 state line

An Illinois man was hurt in a motorcycle crash Friday afternoon on Interstate 90.

The Minnesota State Patrol stated that a 2008 Harley Davidson operated by Thomas Keith Cowell, 63, of Lake in the Hills, Illinois, was eastbound on I-90 when it crashed. The incident took place at 2:09 p.m. Friday near milepost 1 in Beaver Creek Township.

Cowell was taken to Sanford Hospital with a non-life-threatening injury. The Rock County Sheriff’s Office and Ambulance and the Valley Springs, S.D., Fire Department assisted at the scene.
